This is an opportunity for you to bring up to 3 works in progress or near completion for critique or guidance on how to proceed. After the critique you  are invited to fix or continue on these pieces. While you eat lunch, Marion demonstrates in watercolour. After, you may wish to start something new related to the demo or continue working on the pieces you brought along. This is exactly the kind of day you need to kick start working on those unfinished pieces in your studio!

Intermediate Watercolour/Beyond Beginner
Dates: 6 Saturday Mornings, February 4 - March 10, 2012
Times: 9:30 am - Noon
Cost: $195.00 - materials not included

This class is for those students who have completed Marion's beginner course. Join this class if you are ready to tackle bigger paintings creating and using spirit cards and landscape work. We will also be discussing matting, framing, and exhibiting your work. Bring your regular painting gear and 140 lb cold press arches paper.

An Introduction to Acrylic Painting
Dates: July 9 - 13, 2012
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $185.00, plus $10.00 materials fee
Limit: 8 Students

• if you have enjoyed marions teaching style in the intro to watercolour course you may now want to try that same step by step approach to acrylic
• we will complete 4 small paintings all done using the same simplified landscape design, but using four different approaches to acrylic painting
• your materials fee covers the various acrylic mediums and collage materials
• the purpose of this course is to be ready to correctly choose your future acrylic painting class

• 4 canvas boards or canvas approx. 10 x 10"
• small brushes approx number 2 and 8 plus a palette knife
• a surface for mixing colour
• water containers, rags for clean up
• 4 tubes of paint : red, yellow and blue, plus white

Private and Semi-Private Classes Now Available

Private classes are $60 an hour.
Semi-private classes are $45 an hour per person and will consist of two students.

An appointment to review your previous work and/or establish the lesson topics you would like to register for is highly recommended. Fee $30.
