Originally from Kent County, Marion currently makes her home and studio in New Dundee, Ontario, Canada.

Marion has earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Windsor, Masters of Education at the University of Western Ontario and her Visual Arts Honours Specialist at the University of Toronto. She is an Art Department Head for the Waterloo Region District School Board at Waterloo Oxford District Secondary School. Marion also teaches for The Southampton Art School and the Homer Watson House and Gallery in Doon, and Conestoga College. She is an active member of the Central Ontario Art Association. Marion is represented by  Studio Works, Paris Ontario and Glenhyrst Gallery of Brant Art Rental Program, Brantford. She is also the feature artist in the Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Dream Home annually!

Because it is important to Marion to balance the theoretical with the practical, she encourages her students to express themselves through art, while producing and marketing her own artwork.
